Steve specializes in sales and leasing activities representing clients throughout the Twin Cities area. Prior to founding TaTonka Real Estate Advisors Steve was a Senior Vice President with Griffin Companies where he began his real estate career in 1985. He has received awards for his production and commitments to the commercial real estate industry. He served as president of the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR) and was instrumental in bringing the Commercial Exchange online in 1996. Steve was also recognized by his peers as Commercial Realtor of the Year in 1998 for his contributions to the industry and community. He frequently participates in industry related programs as a speaker, moderator, or educator. In addition to MNCAR Steve is very active in the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). He is a 1981 graduate of the Carlson School of Management and is widely respected throughout the Commercial Real Estate community for his dedication to client service. Steve enjoys music, golf, fishing and family time at the cabin in Wisconsin with his wife Sue and their three children.
